Power has always been the bane of my fashion engineering existence (well not as much as mounting motors but that's another story). However, some clever material scientists over at Stanford have developed a compact conductive ink made of carbon nanotubes, another product from the blossoming field of organic electronics. Basically, you paint some paper and it becomes a portable, bendable supercapacitor. I can't wait until this product is commercially sound!

Fashion Engineering != LEDs
Fashion engineering isn't always a light show. Understandably, I think there's too much emphasis on lights. Regardless, never forget, wearable tech, like all technologies, can be deadly, functional, and wonderful.
What do you think Iron Man is if not the best fictional example of fashion engineering?
